Mdina Resounds

Live in the Silent City

Live music and theatre in the historic spaces of Mdina, the Silent City.

Mdina, the Silent City

Staged where the story happened

An immersive promenade performance through St Paul's Cathedral and spaces rarely open to the public, where theatrical storytelling and live music bring the turning points of Mdina's history to life. Every scene is performed in the place its story belongs.

An evening in Mdina

The city is the set

Mdina is a fortified hilltop city of barely a few hundred residents, its streets kept so quiet it earned the name the Silent City. Everything inside its walls was built to last, and most of it still stands.

We don't build sets. Our productions are staged as promenade performances led through St Paul's Cathedral and rooms rarely open to the public, where live music fills the Cathedral's hidden spaces and Maltese musicians, singers and actors tell the story of Mdina where it happened.
